Here are a few tips for filling up your party, whether you have a small budget or if the sky is the limit:

1. Add these décor items

• Never underestimate the effect of balloons. Balloons are a traditional party item, but it’s been around for ages for a reason. Balloons add a fun atmosphere to your party and truly makes a big impact on your décor.

• Paper products like honeycomb balls, lanterns, pompoms, tassels and paper fans are excellent items to add texture to your party décor. They are easy to assemble and due to being lightweight, they can easily be added to a balloon garland, hanged from a tree or ceiling or be used as floor décor.

• Bunting / Garlands are fun items to assist in completing your desired look.

2. Favor Boxes, Treats and Drinks

• The sky is the limit when it comes to favor boxes and bags. As they are large items, they add to your table décor. Favor boxes and bags can be themed or you can use plain boxes or bags to keep your party look simple.

• An item that is often overlooked, are paper straws. Although they are a simple item, they look beautiful when tied to your party drinks (Steri Stumpie, Juice bottle or Water bottle) and are a cost effective way of adding to your party décor.
• Treats and sweets can now form part of your décor, by creating a sweets table. A sweets table can be your focal point – simply add a backdrop and balloon arch to it to make it the center of your party.

3. It’s all about the cake

• What would a party be without a cake? You can opt for a fully decorated cake, or go with a simplistic cake decorated with toppers to create your desired look.
• Don’t feel like doing a cake? Cupcakes or Macarons are just as great! You can have plain cupcakes or macarons with a themed cupcake stand to add to your party décor.
